Toledo bar burglarized twice in one week

TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

Misty Williams and her husband just recently took ownership of Charleston Bar on Broadway in south Toledo, but they have been plagued with numerous break-ins.

The bar was burglarized twice in the past week alone.

Williams says early Saturday a thief got away with $600 out of the jukebox. The second incident happened early Tuesday morning. Williams says the burglar had a key to a game, and took $200 out of it.

"It is like it is getting ridiculous. It's like really? You have nothing better to do then to come and break-in somewhere and just take money? It is not fair, it's not right," said Williams.

Now Williams says she has started to worry about her safety.

"It is getting brighter and brighter each time that they are doing it. I am scared they are going to come in while I am working and I don't, I don't know what else to do," said Williams.

Anyone with information about the break-ins should call CrimeStopper at 419-255-1111.
