Brooks lived upstairs in the fourplex while the fugitive Norris was holed up downstairs.

He described to 19 Action News, "Terrifying. They had their guns drawn through the windows telling us to get down or they'll shoot us. This was very scary."

Police had to tear up part of the house and even had to rip a hole in the foundation to reach where Norris was hiding.

Paul Starkey watched the spectacle from across the street.

''They took the floor apart to get at him and drug him out through the dirt and all," Starkey conveyed.

Norris will be officially charged with murder and within a short time go before a judge for an arraignment hearing.
