A rare lunar eclipse will begin Monday night into early Tuesday morning and there are several ways to enjoy the experience.

Leading up to the eclipse, NASA will host a Reddit "Ask Me Anything" on Monday at 2:00 p.m. with astronomers from the Marshall Space Flight Center as well as various NASA researchers answering all your questions.

Followers on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook can also join the conversation by posting with the hashtag #Eclipse. If you're planning on snapping photos, NASA is allowing the public to tag and share their images of the moon on Instagram and the agency's Flickr group.

Those who want to watch the eclipse online can enjoy live coverage and commentary at 1:00 a.m. on NASA.gov/NASATV

Aside from the interactive experience NASA is offering, there is also a fun event happening at Thomas Moore College from 10:00 p.m. Monday until 4:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Bank of Kentucky Observatory. Guests can enjoy a free watch party with food, drinks and live entertainment.

How are you experiencing the eclipse? Tweet or post to Facebook with the hashtag #19Eclipse and we'll feature your lunar memories online!
