PHOTOS: Woman tries to rob Warrensville Heights bank

WARRENSVILLE HEIGHTS, OH (WOIO) -

Warrensville Heights Police are looking for the woman who tried to rob the U.S. Bank over the weekend.

It happened at the Richmond Road branch around 9:30 a.m. Saturday.

Police tell 19 Action News the suspect entered the bank and handed a teller a note under the window demanding money. She fled without any money after the teller resisted. No one was injured.

The suspect is described as a 20 to 25-year-old black woman, approximately 5'2", thin build, and wearing a black wig pulled back into a pony tail. The suspect was wearing a black hooded jacket, wide lens sun glasses and was carrying a black purse.
