CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

Monday night was rough for Indiana Pacers' small forward, Paul George. While losing game 5 of the NBA playoffs to the Atlanta Hawks, George's home was being burglarized. George's parents informed the cops that his home had been invaded between 7:15pm and 11:45pm and several valuable items were missing.

Among those items was a 2014 NBA All-Star ring that is said to be in the price range of $15,000. There were no signs of forced entry because the home alarm system wasn't set. George's parents also admitted they hadn't locked the door upon leaving the house because they didn't have a key to get back in. The other reported valuables missing were a $170 pair of shoes, a $700 watch and some cash.

Even though George led the Pacers with 26 points and 12 rebounds that evening, it's plain bad luck to lose a playoff game and have a home invasion in one night.  Luckily no one was hurt and now Paul can focus on the court during a crucial time for Indiana as they fight for the NBA finals.
