Boxing Superstar Floyd Mayweather Jr. has shown serious interest in purchasing the L.A. Clippers. Mayweather said he was serious about his interest and that he had spoken with his adviser, Al Haymon, about teaming with Mayweather Promotions.
The undisputed champion expressed the fact that he attended the games whenever he wasn't boxing. Mayweather, whose $73.5 million in minimum purses for his two fights in 2013 made him the world's highest-paid athlete, also said all interactions with Clippers current owner have been positive exchanges between the two. Sterling is not yet stripped of ownership but it is expected to be 29-0 in favor of his departure.
