CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

There is a lot of new hope this coming season with ten new draft picks, a new look at the stadium and a new season set to kick off in just four months. Browns' fans remain forever optimistic.

Devon Mattison expressed to 19 Action News, "You always gotta have hope. Every year I have hope."

The Mattison family, of father and sons, are true Browns fans. On Thursday, May 8 they walked through First Energy Stadium during an event to energize fans about the upcoming season.

"You can't be terrible forever," Mattison attested. "It's gotta start somewhere. Hopefully, it could be this season."

Construction crews are working on upgrading and improving the stadium. During the draft, the front office made improvements to the roster.

Fan Ryan Byers said, "I think the fact that we've got new ownership here, new head coach, it's going to be a new mentality."

At the Barley House on West 6th Street, Browns fans were geared up to see who would join their team. Even die-hards admitted that in recent years the team has been hard to watch.

Byers shared, "It's been pretty frustrating."

Still, there wasn't a feeling that the Browns are close to being good again.

Darius Mattison thought maybe in two years the team will post more wins than losses.

His brother Doug Mattison described, "Up and down... and for the Browns it's been more down than up as of late. But, you still see flashes."
