CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

Aaron Hernandez's cousin, Tonya Singleton, entered a plea of not guilty on Monday after being accused of helping him hide a car that was used in the 2012 double murder.

Hernandez is accused of murdering Safiro Furtado and Daniel Abreu in 2012, where authorities believe he drove off after the murders where his cousin Tonya got the car from him and drove it to her garage, where it stayed a year later. The car was later found after a search warrant was administered during the case.

Hernandez is also accused of the murder of Odin Lloyd, and Singleton faces criminal contempt in that case too. She is refusing to testify before the grand jury, even while the authorities have granted her immunity for her testimony.

Singleton is on home confinement, and is only allowed to leave home for doctor's appointments and lawyer visits.
