CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

The Jacksonville Jaguars may not see much in Justin Blackmon, but that doesn't merit cutting him off the team just yet.

Blackmon was suspended in November of 2013, and GM Dave Caldwell doesn't see much potential in him playing in 2014 either, but Ed Werder of ESPN reported that the Jaguars don't intend to set him loose if and when he is reinstated within the league.

He was arrested and pled guilty for a DUI months after the Jags selected him and received a four game suspension before the start of the 2013 season. He then returned to the field in October where he caught 29 passed for 415 yards in four games.

Explains why the Jaguars are not quick to release the wide receiver just yet in hopes that he can get his act together and produce results.
