TUAM, IRELAND (TV3/CNN) - Anger is growing over a mass grave of hundreds of children found in Ireland.
The bodies of 800 children were discovered at a home for unmarried mothers, run by nuns.
According to local media, the children are believed to have died between 1925 and 1961.
The discovery was highlighted in a front-page report in the Irish Mail on Sunday, which cited the efforts of local historian Catherine Corless.
The newspaper reports that local children stumbled upon the grave in the 1970s, but the site was never examined afterward.
