Cleveland (WOIO) - John Calipari may have turned down as much as $80 million to run and coach the Cavaliers, but another high-profile name has surfaced that will excite Cavs fans even more. According to the Cleveland Plain Dealer, the next candidate to be interviewed for the coaching job is former Cavs' star Mark Price, who's been an NBA assistant the past six years, is currently on Steve Clifford's staff in Charlotte, and is expected to meet with the team on Tuesday.
Price spent nine years playing for the Cavaliers, throwing down 3's and earning his place in the rafters.
The Cavs are also expected to give second interviews to Tyronn Lue and Alvin Gentry.
