TWINSBURG, OH (WOIO) -

The Summit County Sheriff's Office needs your help identifying a man responsible for a robbery at the Speedway gas station in Twinsburg on June 8.

At approximately 8:15 a.m., the sheriff's office says the suspect entered the Speedway, located at 7966 Darrow Road, approached the counter, and presented a large knife. He then demanded cash and threatened to harm the cashier if she did not cooperate.

According to the sheriff's office, the suspect ran out the gas station when another employee emerged from a back room. He headed northbound on Darrow Road in a white SUV.

The suspect is described as a white male in his early 20s, approximately 5'8" tall, weighing between 140 and 160 pounds and has dark hair.

The sheriff's office believes the suspect may also be responsible for a robbery earlier that day at the Circle K on North Mantua Street in Kent.

The most recent robbery was caught on surveillance video.

Anyone with information on the robbery or the identity of the suspect should contact the Summit County Sheriff's Office Detective Bureau at 330-643-2131. Anyone providing information leading to an arrest in this case may be eligible for an award through Summit County Crime Stoppers.
