Akron police make a fourth arrest in Shawn Dotson homicide

AKRON, OH (WOIO) -

Akron detectives have arrested a fourth suspect involved in the recent shooting death of Shawn Dotson. Adrian W. Washington, 24, of Fleming Drive turned himself into detectives Sunday night.

Shortly before midnight on June 7, 2014, Adrian Washington, Daryl E. Rue, Robert E. Jordan Jr., and Dennis Miller forced their way into Dotson's house on Lawton Street and robbed Dotson. 

During the robbery, Dotson was shot in the chest. He was transported to a local hospital where he later died.

Washington was charged with murder, aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary and tampering with evidence. 

He remains in the Summit County Jail.
