OSP investigates fatal motorcycle crash

WOOSTER, OH (WOIO) -

The Ohio State Patrol is investigating a motorcycle crash that occurred on Messner Rd. at the intersection of Valley Rd., south of the City of Wooster in Wayne County.  The crash occurred on Monday, June 16, 2014.

Nicholas L. Claus, age 24, of 2419 Congress Rd, Wooster Ohio, was west on Messner Rd. on a 2003 Yamaha YZFR6 motorcycle, silver in color. Mr. Claus had lost control of the motorcycle prior to entering a curve and was ejected from the motorcycle. Mr. Claus and the motorcycle then struck a guardrail post.  Mr. Claus was wearing a helmet and gloves at the time of the crash. 

This crash remains under investigation.
