Elderly Brecksville man with dementia found safe in PA

BRECKSVILLE, OH (WOIO) -

A Missing Adult Alert has been canceled by the Brecksville Police Department after an elderly man left his residence around 10:45 a.m. and did not return home. He has since been found safe.

According to police, George Bally suffers from early stages of dementia and seems confused and disoriented.

The incident took place in Cuyahoga County on Chippewa Road in the city of Brecksville. His last known cellular activity was in the North Jackson, OH area around 5 p.m.

Police say the 92-year-old man was located safely in Lawrence County, Pennsylvania hours after he was reported missing.
