Lorain Police have posted a warning on their Facebook page about two men claiming to be IRS agents who leave a computerized about delinquent taxes.

The suspects were identified as Daniel White and Sean Stithe, calling from the following number; 202-751-2551. The message says the recipient is being investigated for income tax evasion and led the victim to believe there would be a tax lien against his property.

The victim was told to purchase reloadit cards and send the agents money. Once the victim sent money, the agents called back saying there were more tax problems.

Lorain Police say if you receive a call like this, contact the IRS directly using a number from their website.
