NEW YORK, June 19, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Ray Bloch Productions was thrilled to produce Town & Country's Inaugural Philanthropy Summit at Hearst Tower on May 28 in New York City.
The Summit brought together the nation's most passionate philanthropists and leaders of charitable organizations, including Michael R. Bloomberg, Chelsea Clinton, Hunter Biden, Trudie Styler, Donna Karan, Lauren Bush Lauren, and Geoffrey Canada for lively discussions on topics including education, world hunger, technology and non-profits, and medical research. "There was always that saying that if you had money, you were supposed to find a way to share it," said Jay Fielden, the publication's editor in chief. "At the summit, we're highlighting these very people."
The summit kicked off May 27th with the premiere of Generosity of Eye, hosted by Julia Louis-Dreyfus. The evening featured top philanthropists and visionaries, including William Louis-Dreyfus, Brad Hall and Geoffrey Canada of the Harlem Children's Zone.
The event was especially important to Town & Country at a time when consumers expect a certain level of corporate responsibility and philanthropic giving from luxury brands. As the client commented to Ray Bloch afterwards, the event was "Fantastic! Executed flawlessly!!"
