Cleveland (WOIO) - Nick Swisher belted a walk-off grand slam in the bottom of the 10th inning, and the Indians wrapped up the series with the Angels with a 5-3 win, taking two out of three from Los Angeles, and improving to 23-12 at Progressive Field.
Swisher's blast came off Ernesto Fieri, and came after Albert Pujols had put the Angels up 3-1 in the top of the 10th.
Justin Masterson started for the Tribe, working seven innings and giving up only one run, on a wild pitch in the second.
Michael Bourn tied the score in the third with a fielder's choice, and then both teams' bats went silent until the 10th.
The win moves the Indians to within 2.5 games of the first-place Royals, with the Tigers coming to town on Friday.
