CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

President of the Miami Heat organization, Pat Riley, has openly aired his grievances about the media rumors surrounding the team at the annual season-ending press conference. With lots of talk about the Big Three either leaving or taking paycuts, Riley very bluntly said, "I don't think we've got to recruit Chris, Dwyane or LeBron, I'm not dropping rings on the table for those guys. They could drop their own." He also made it clear that he has spoken with the three all-stars and team owner, Mickey Arison, and is willing to do "whatever it takes" to keep them around.

Riley spoke about being very optimistic that his core players will be back next year even after the Spurs trounced them. However, LeBron told the media during his exit interview that he planned on taking a long vacation with his family before he made any decisions about next season. James had mentioned that he welcomed the idea of being a free agent again. Dwyane Wade had no comment for his exit day but had previously said that he wanted to spend his entire career playing for the Heat. And Chris Bosh has also mentioned that he wouldn't see any reason why the Big Three won't be together next year.

A contingency plan has been set based on whatever decisions the top Heat players make. Mr. Riley went on to say, "I think everybody needs to get a grip. This stuff is hard. You have to stay together and find the guts. You don't find the door and run out of it." This said upon hearing murmurs of the Heat being on the decline and that it's time to break up the core players.

"How can we keep the guys together?" Riley said. "We're prepared. We've got the main thing all written up. Whatever it takes to keep them together, we're ready for. Let's stay here and try to keep this thing going." Riley insisted that he was not overcome by pressure with the situation at hand, but you have to wonder how the guy is truly holding up after all the rumors and accusations that have transpired since the Finals.
