GERMANTOWN, TN -

(WMC) - Susan Parker was arrested in her underwear after five-hour barricade situation in Germantown.

The incident is still the talk of the neighborhood where it all happened.

Police say they had a call that shots had been fired after victim Adriane Merrill said she went to Parker's home to get her dog. Parker was caring for the animal Saturday.

An affidavit says Parker shouted obscenities. Merrill ran out the back door with her two dogs. Merrill says Parker shot at her twice and then said, "Get on the ------- floor."

Merrill says Parker then hit her in the head with the butt of a gun. When Germantown police took Parker's mug shot she was still in her underwear.

Germantown Inspector Lee Covey said she was given clothing after the mug shot was taken. He said officers did not want to get clothing from Parker's house because the clothes likely had tear gas on them.

Covey says investigators do not know Parker's side of the story because she isn't talking. Parker is now at Jail East with a new mug shot and clothing.

A spokesperson for the Memphis police said there likely is no written policy, but if the situation allows for it, the suspect would get proper clothing.

Susan Parker's attorney did not want to comment.
