CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

A pretrial hearing Friday for the six Cleveland Police Officers facing charges in connection with the November 2012 deadly Cleveland Police chase and shooting.

Officer Michael Brelo, the only officer facing a felony, is charged with two counts of voluntary manslaughter. He fired 49 of the 137 shots.

Five supervisors, Sergeant Randolph Daley, Sergeant Patricia Coleman, Sergeant Michael Donegan, Sergeant Paul Wilson and Lieutenant Jason Edens, each face two misdemeanor charges of dereliction of duty.

The 28-minute chase ended with 13 officers firing 137 shots into the car, killing the driver, Timothy Russell, and the passenger, Malissa Williams. Prosecutors say Brelo jumped on the hood of the unarmed victim's car and unloaded 15 rounds.

19 Action News investigative reporter Scott Taylor asked Officer Brelo, who's on unpaid administrative leave, "Do you have anything to say to the families of Timothy Russell or Malissa Williams?" Officer Brelo made no comment.

The defense team asked prosecutors if there will be more indictments, but there was no answer.

The defense team also asked if they would consider a gag order, but prosecutors say they will not agree to a gag order because they believe the Cleveland Police Union will "not keep their mouths shut." Judge John O'Donnell has yet to rule on the motion and is asking both sides to come up with a gag agreement first before ruling on any gag order.

No trial date has been set but it appears that Officer Brelo could be heading towards a trial, which will be separate from the other five police supervisors. All are back in court next week for another pretrial update.
