Foot fetish predator back at it again, targeting AZ realtors

Posted: Updated:
PHOENIX (CBS5) -

A man preying on female real estate agents in Arizona is back at it again.

A number of realtors have reached out to CBS 5 News and said they have been contacted by a man who wants to rub their feet.

Valley realtor Carolyn Knight, with the Realty One Group,  has worked with all kinds of clients, but nothing compares to the creepy guy obsessed with her feet.

"He asked me do I like my feet rubbed," said Knight. "That's when I said, 'This is getting strange here - we're not talking about houses any more.'"

Knight is one of many female Valley realtors who have been targeted by a guy with a serious foot fetish.

In April, CBS 5 News first reported on a man, who goes by the name Anthony.

Anthony was posing as a prospective home buyer, with no real interest in square feet.

His focus was on the realtors' feet and what kind of heels they wear.

Now, he's at it again.

An East Valley realtor received a text message Monday, believed to have been sent by Anthony.

"You wanna see my pic?" the text said.  "I give great foot rubs."

The text also included a photo that was sent to the realtor.

According to a real estate forum on Facebook, dozens have realtors have been contacted over the past several months.

So why haven't police stepped in to stop him?

Phoenix Police Sgt. Tommy Thompson said it's not that simple, especially since texting someone about wanting to rub their feet isn't a crime.

"If those advances continue and that person begins to show up at a realtors or work place, or heaven forbid, show up at their house, then it becomes an issue that would be more of a criminal nature," said Thompson.

Knight said she is worried that Anthony could take his foot fetish to the next level.

"My concern is that if he keeps continuing this behavior, is he going to be crazy enough to follow through and hurt somebody," said Knight.

None of the realtors contacted so far have actually met with the foot fetish guy.

He has yet to show up to any scheduled meeting.
