(POOL/CNN) – There were no “Blurred Lines” to read between during Thicke’s Twitter question and answer session on Tuesday.

People were pretty blunt with the singer, asking him about his marriage and his public attempt to win his estranged wife, actress Paula Patton, back.

For example, one person tweeted, “Do you think Tim Howard can save your marriage?” The tweet referred to the Team USA goalie’s performance in the 2-1 World Cup loss to Belgium.

Thicke tweeted, “I’m a big boy, I can handle it” during the session.

The conversation was in partnership with VH1 and used the hashtag #AskThicke.
