Cleveland (WOIO) - Gordon Hayward became a star four years ago when he led tiny Butler University to the brink of a national title. Now, he's ready to finally cash in, and it could be with the Cavaliers.
On Wednesday, the Jazz forward visited the Cavs, who are expected to make a four year, $63 million offer to the restricted free agent. The Jazz have maintained that they will match any offer, but it's a steep raise, considering Hayward made $3.5 million last season.
Hayward averaged just over 16 points per game last season. He can sign an offer sheet on July 10th, after which the Jazz would have three days to match the offer.
