CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

Two pairs of brothers indicted earlier this week in the murder of Cleveland Heights restaurant owner, Jim Brennan plead not guilty in a Cleveland courtroom Thursday morning.

Brandon Jones, Devonne Turner, and Darien Jones are all charged with aggravated murder and aggravated robbery. Paul Turner is charged with obstruction. This was their first court appearance since their indictment Monday. All remain behind bars.

Brennan was shot to death June 30, while opening his restaurant Brennan's Colony on Lee Road.

Brandon Jones worked at the restaurant as a dishwasher.

By the end of the week, Cleveland Heights Police reported all men confessed to their involvement, but it is unclear when the confessions were actually made. Still, Cleveland Heights Police said the announcement only strengthens the case against the suspects.

Brennan's family said the restaurant would reopen, but the timeline is still unknown. A fundraiser has been created to help the staff affected by the closure of the restaurant. The goal was to cover two weeks worth of wages at $25,000, but already, $51,000 has been raised!
