MURFREESBORO, TN (WSMV) -

Police are seeking information on an incident of vandalism at a school near the MTSU campus.

Laurie Offutt, principal at Reeves-Rogers Elementary School on Greenland Drive, told police that sometime between Aug. 1 and Aug. 3 someone vandalized the school.

She found an MTSU golf cart stuck in the netting of a soccer goal and that there had been drawings on the face of the banner above the front door and inside the banner.

The golf cart had been reported stolen, according to MTSU police.

Security cameras at the elementary school caught the individuals on camera.

According to the police report, there was about $1,400 of damage at the school.
