Halloween Safety Tips:

- Always us common sense.

- Never Trick-or-Treat alone.

- Young children should always Trick-or-Treat with an adult.

- Have at least two buddies go with you.

- Plan your entire route and make sure your family knows what it is.

- Be very cautious of strangers.

- Accept treats only in the doorway. Never go inside.

- Visit only houses where the lights are on.

- Don't play near lit jack-o-lanterns.

- Walk on sidewalks and driveways.

- Walk, do not run.

- Take a flashlight and a cell phone with you.

- Cross the street at the corner or in a crosswalk.

- Make sure your costume fits and you have clear eyesight.

- Wait until your parents check your candy before eating it.
