Posted: Updated:

Twinsburg, OH - The City of Twinsburg, area businesses and residents are joining forces to organize a very special event in honor of Fallen Officer Josh Miktarian.  Funds raised by this event will provide scholarships for deserving students with interest in criminal law and will help the Twinsburg Police Department purchase a newly trained police dog.

The fundraiser will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn Cleveland/Twinsburg, Thursday, Sept 4th at 6pm.  Chef Brandt Evans of Blue Canyon Kitchen Tavern is overseeing the reception of restaurants from Twinsburg, Tallmadge, Northfield, Macedonia, Solon, Hudson, Aurora and Cleveland proper,  proudly serving their signature dishes.  There will also be a silent auction and Chinese auction. "Barium" band will provide evening entertainment.  Dress is casual.

The fundraising goal is $45,000.  Twenty thousand will be used to purchase a trained police dog for the Twinsburg Police Department as well as $25,000 to the Joshua T. Miktarian Memorial Scholarship (for high school students going into criminal law)

The purpose is to help the community heal while celebrating the courage of our City safety forces.
