A strong cold front is approaching the area and out ahead of it the storm threat will increase. I expect the potential for severe storms to be with us into this afternoon and tonight. The main concern will be for damaging wind gusts and hail. Thursday a cold front will move through and periods of rain will be with us along with much cooler temperatures for the start of Memorial Day weekend.
